The draftsmen at blackwalnut are responsible for working out how our projects are built, identifying and offering solutions for any issues that may arise. We’re obsessed with finding a better way and making each step of the process as smooth and painless as possible. Creating drawings for every step of production, we provide the information fabricators and installers need to make each design a reality.
We’re searching for applicants with the following:
- Experience drafting in AutoCAD, especially in 3D
- Experience working with various materials and fabrication methods
- Hands-on fabrication experience
- Background in broadcast or theatre
- Able to collaborate to solve problems
- Work closely with Department Heads and Project Managers
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities, deadlines and changes made by the client
- Desire to continually improve your skills
Other desirable skills are:
- Experience with CNC
- Experience with Fusion 360
